Roger lives in Greenwich, Connecticut, 35 miles from New York City. His wife, Andrea, is a retired anesthesiologist. They have two adult daughters and three grandchildren. He graduated with a BA from Colgate University. (The discus record he set there in 1962 still stands.) He then earned an MBA degree from Rutgers University and a CPA certificate from the state of New York. He spent most of his career as a corporate financial executive and retired as CFO of a division of Diageo, the international drinks company. In 2002, at age 61, Roger began throwing the discus in the Masters division. Highlights include: **USA national record holder, 80-84 group, at 38.42 meters **USA national record holder, 75-79 group, at 43.83 meters **Eleven time USA national champion. **2016 World champion, Perth, Australia. **Five time leader of world age-group annual rankings. **Age-group performance of 86.97% (using 2023 tables) with throw of 38.97 at age 82.
